I wouldn't say so. It depends on your individual style and what YOU want. Some people would argue country, classical, or any other genre of music. Personally, I think blues and a few other jazz styles are relaxing, but once again, that's my opinion. You have to decide what works best for you.

Jazz is a type of music as far as I'm concerned. Although there are some comedians who would say the opposite. There are many types of music (classical, rock, reggae) and although the more contempory 'genres' tend to bleed into one another, most older forms (baroque etc) are named after a particular era. Jazz is typified by generally unusual time signatures and key signatures. But once again there are many different types of jazz such as hot jazz.
Not too sure about art music, but classical music usually takes time within the classical, baroque, romantic, renaissance, and contemporary eras. All classical music is acoustic, meaning no electric instruments, give or take an electric piano, violin, or viola... Art music is a term used to refer to "advanced" music which relies more on formal style and theory. The opposite of art music is popular music. Classical music is a category of art music which includes traditional classical music (this is divided based on the region where it originated) and modern classical music (electronic, experimental, and minimalist music). Art music also includes certain forms of jazz which are considered to be less "popular" and more theoretical improvisation.
COOL jazz OBAMA APPROVES BTW
Mainly Jazz styles are played on the saxophone but other styles include military bands and a few orchestras.

The clarinet is a musical instrument that has a rich history in various genres of music, including classical, folk, and military band music. However, it is not as commonly used in jazz music. There are several reasons why this is the case. First, jazz music evolved in New Orleans in the late 19th and early 20th centuries and was heavily influenced by blues, ragtime, and brass band music. Clarinets were not a common instrument in brass bands, and thus, did not play a significant role in the development of jazz. Second, the saxophone became the primary woodwind instrument in jazz. The saxophoneβs sound, versatility, and ability to blend well with other instruments made it a popular choice for jazz musicians. The clarinet, on the other hand, has a more classical sound that can clash with the improvisational nature of jazz. Third, the technical demands of jazz require a different skill set from classical clarinet playing. Jazz musicians often play with a more relaxed, breathy tone and use more extended techniques such as bending notes and creating growls. These techniques are not typically taught in classical clarinet training and can be difficult for classical clarinetists to master.
It would be more correct to say that classical music existed for quite some time before jazz and blues. All three: Classical, jazz and blues - continue to be very popular. Some jazz musicians (Dave Brubeck, Duke Ellington, and others) had some success combining elements of the two together.
I'd say that he leans more towards jazz. However, you can hear some classical influence in his writing as well.
There is Jazz Bass and Classical Bass. Jazz Bass is characterised by more slappy bass (pizzicato), walking bass, and swung rhythm's, Classical Bass is characterized more by bowing (arco). Classical can by played in an orchestra or as a solo instrument. Jazz is played with a band or Jazz band. Hope this helps!

Do you mean the difference between classical music and film music?Classical music was composed in the period from 1550 to 1900 (more or less).Film music came into existence in the late 1800's/early 1900's.Film music often borrows elements from classical music, but from other music forms as well (for example jazz, and rock). Both music forms have also much in common. When you put on a dvd, turn off the sound from the tv, and put on a classical piece of music at the same time, the classical music can often compliment the movie you're watching!
