God as it blessed him with talents and gave him the fortitude to go onstage...and sing.

Secondly, his Uncle taught him how to play the guitar (Elvis knew only 3 chords).

Also, Sam Phillips who owned "Memphis Recording Studio" (aka: Sun Records) who brought Elvis into the studio (over a year after Elvis recorded 2 songs) and in between songs selected by Sam Phillips Elvis and Scotty and Bill started jamming and Sam Phillips came running in and knew he had recorded musical gold.

"Colonel" Tom Parker (Elvis' manager) put Elvis in a position to the greatest entertainer, singer, performer, actor, etc. throughout most of Elvis' adult life. Colonel Parker did many things wrong, which monetarily hurt Elvis, but he did help to make Elvis famous.

Lastly, his Mother believed in Elvis and his talents.
