Gerry Beckley, Dewey Bunnell and Dan Peek make up the Grammy-awarded acoustic-rock super group AMERICA that formed in 1969 and dominated the music charts and rock-concert scene of the 70's.

Dan Peek quit the band 1977 then went solo very successfully in modern Christian Music!

Gerry Beckley and Dewey Bunnell continued on as AMERICA, adding more hits to their legendary legacy and kept touring around the world for their international die-hard fans in more than 150 hot-concerts EVERY YEAR even to this day - a world-record for legendary status bands! They are among the very few elite of longest-surviving iconic rock bands in the world that did not retire. They are in their 40th year of their career and have no intention of retiring yet for a long time!

These legendary singer-songwriters continue to release superb artistically-crafted albums, the latest one in 2007 (produced and collaborated with hip new-generation rock artists who were also their fans and have now become rock-star themselves!)

- the critically-praised "Here and Now" album!
