It depends on what criteria you are looking at.
In the UIL State Marching Contest, Marcus High School, from Flowermound, has shown dominance since 2006.
In the Bands of America competition, the most competitive circuit for high school Marching Bands, many schools have come out on top, most recently Johnson High School, from San Antonio. Many bands, however have been on top at this competition, including Reagan, LD Bell, The Woodlands, and even Marcus.
In conclusion, in terms of overall dominance, one could say that Marcus is the best. In terms of overall consistency since the school's opening, Reagan would probably be considered the best.
