Most of the inductees to the Country Music HOF were inducted postumously or towards the end of their careers. Therefore, it's relatively rare for someone to be "young" and be inducted into the HOF. However, a few of the inductees in the Country Music HOF blazed an early, and quite bright, trail that made it possible to be recognized before untimely passing on. The two most notable examples are Patsy Cline and Hank Williams Sr. They both had successful, if short, careers. Each was 30 years old when they died. It is unlikely the HOF will ever nominate someone who is A) Alive, B) Currently recording and C) under the age of 30, for induction into the hall. Sorry, Leann Rhimes.
