Carl Perkins made a cameo in the 1990's era video "Silver Threads and Golden Needles" with Dolly Parton, Loretta Lynn, and Tammy Wynette. In the video, he presents Dolly with a pair of blue suede shoes. Many other notable legends make cameos in the video including Little Jimmy Dickens, Grandpa Jones, Bill Monroe, and Chet Atkins to name a few.
