That was the product of Mel London, a Producer/Songwriter from the Chicago area. He owned the "Chief" label and its subsidiaries Profile, Age, All Points and Mel/Mel-Lon). The entire output was only about 40 or so singles, but among them were seminal works by Junior Wells and other Blues greats. He also wrote the songs "Poison Ivy" "Messin with the Kid" and "It Hurts Me Too" among others.
