Lang had experience as a promoter and had already organized the largest festival on the East Coast at the time, the Miami Pop Festival, which had an estimated 100,000 people attend the two day event.

∙ 14y agoMicheal eavis organised the Glastonbury music festival in 1970 because he needed money for his farm so the tickets cost just one pound. He is still the owner of the festival but is retiering soon so is handing the festival on to his daughter Emily eavis.
