The publishing rights to Duke Ellington's song "In a Sentimental Mood" are typically held by music publishing companies that manage his catalog. The song was co-written by Ellington and lyricist Manny Kurtz, and various rights may be held by different entities over time, including the Duke Ellington estate and music publishers. If you need the most current information on specific ownership, it may be best to consult a music rights organization or database.

Who ownes The Beach Boys name?

The Beach Boys name is owned by the group's founding members, particularly Mike Love, who has maintained control over the trademark for many years. Brian Wilson, another founding member, has a significant legacy and influence on the band's music, but Love has been the primary figure associated with the name in legal terms. As a result, various touring iterations of the band have emerged, often featuring different members, but Love's ownership of the name has been a point of contention in their history.

How much is a Strom 5 string open back banjo roughly worth serial no 2436 made in Grand Rapids Minnesota?

Hi! I'm from Grand Rapids. My mother bought a banjo from Strom in 1962 I think. She gave it to me and it is serial number 2022. I wish too what it's worth. I found an obituary for Gordon Sunstrom who died in Little Falls, MN 3-12-98 and born 6-27-19 and noted he started the company there in 1962. I found Strom banjo I think on Ebay and it was made in Brainerd, MN so he must have started a second plant. My mother bought a guitar from him too. I think my sister still ownes it; but it warped in storage and she also had long owned a very nice hand made (by a luthier not a company...). Look on Ebay. I also was told there are some good old instrument dealers I think in Michigan who have a website and are very reputable. They might tell you too. I just have to remember the name and try to find them. Where did you get your Strom? Sincerely, Mike
