Daddy Warbucks, although the character Star-to-be takes a verse.
The character of Daddy Warbucks has made many appearances in both print and on screen over the last 90ish years. His servants in turn, have made many appearances and have been presented in a multitude of fashions. In the original "Little Orphan Annie" cartoon, Warbucks had two main servants, Punjab and The Asp. In the 1982 film version, both these characters make appearances, along with the butler Drake and many maids.
Little Orphan Annie is one of the oldest comic strips. it is indirectly dated to a storyor serie thereof by the author James Whitcomb Riley, who wrote in the Hoosier Indiana dialect, and such things as (Riley songs O" Bliss) This is early l900"s first decade. the comic strip was well up and running in the twenties. it may be argued Daddy Warbucks (real name used now occasionally) Oliver was a sort of reformed Scrooge type his conscience bugging him agbout war profits- hence War Bucks! He is a defense contractor in the early and modern (Annie) lines. Like many comic strip characters Annie never ages. One wonders is this is a blessing or a curse, she acts like a very mature say, C.I.A. type in extremely hazardous situations. I"m referring to the modern and generally plausible runs with Amelia Santiago, as an (evidentally) Army or Af Intelligence officer and aviatrix. they run good plots.. usuallyl. This is light years away from the adopted to in Riley"s day! Whoa!
You should tell your daddy

Drake is the loyal butler to Daddy Warbucks in "Annie." He helps take care of Annie and supports Daddy Warbucks in his efforts to help her find a family. Drake is a father figure to Annie and also provides comic relief in the musical.
At the end of the film of Annie, Daddy Warbucks adopts Annie and lives with him from now on. It is pretty crap!!!!
The butler in "Annie" is named Drake. He works for the wealthy Daddy Warbucks and helps take care of Annie.
