G and R did not ever cover stairway to heaven , as far as I know, and I am a huge Zep lover. They did cover Sympathy for the devil however, and it was fantastic !
Did Elvis ever sing Stairway to Heaven?gostaria de saber se elvis já cantou stairway to heavenhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RJlcqMtDwHQ
Yes, it's the greatest song ever!
2 of the greatest: Stairway to Heaven by Led Zepplin A Day in the Life by The Beatles For others see: the beatles, the doors, jimi Hendrix
If they did, it wasn't recorded and released. They did do a song live where the band left the stage for Bonzo's solo and that took several minutes, when it included Pages solo, that song could have taken twenty minutes but I don't believe that they ever used 'Stairway'. The drum riff is not suited for that.

Stairway to Heaven by Led Zepplin. See the link below for the most comprehensive list I have ever seen. It starts with "Amazing Grace" c1800 through "If We Ever Meet Again" by Timbaland & Katy Perry.
that is very personal. I might say stairway to heaven or 10000 days by Tool. But Bohemian Rhapsody also is a very very good song. What do you think is the best song ever?

Not really, lots of people just think that its the best song ever by Led Zeppelin. (I prefer Ramble On myself...) It really just depends on your opinion of Rock n Roll.
