In the Telus commercial, Simply Red is doing their version of the song titled If You Don't Know Me By Now. It was originally done by Harold Melvin & the Blue Notes.
I believe the piece to be an orchestral version of Johann Pachebel's Canon. There are several versions on youtube and the version that I believe is in the commercial is Pachebel Cannon in D Major Fantastic Version or Pachebel's Canon in D Major Perfect Version. There are at least 50 versions of this beautiful melody on You Tube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Af372EQLck&feature=related
The song is called "Early Bird". However, I cannot find the remix version.

It's Keep Feeling Fascination by The Human League though it appears to be some slightly remixed version not sure specifically which one yet.
Shareware software is commercial software. Shareware simply refers to the ability to redistribute a limited trial version of the product to others.
yes, Google Earth is a Google product with both a free and commercial/enterprise version.
Yes, I can clearly remember the commercials. If I'm not mistaken the version used in the wine commercial was a cover version by Joe Kenyon. I used to have it on a 7" single. Really liked that version and wish I still had the record.
In theory, an open source software can do better than the commercial counter part - because of the free-will and openness. But in reality, NO, the open source version DOES NOT have the same major features of the commercial product. The major features of both versions will not be the same, and the commercial version SHOULD have the "major" features that the open-source does not have in order to make money from those features. And usually, those commercial features are patented or copy-righted, the open source version cannot duplicate them in any form. Some open source even has provision agreement that it would not be commercialized!!
This is stolen computer software. People may take a commercial version of a program and put it on a website, or they may crack a limited shareware version of a program and make it the full version. Commercial piracy is when someone rebrands another company's product and sells it as if it is their own. More casual piracy is just using file-sharing software to upload it to others without payment between the parties.
I don't think that they have an actual devious trait, although I remember that in one of the commercial/preview they had for it. I think that that was from the old version before they edited it for final release.
commercial software
The music was done in-house by Grayson Matthews, a Toronto sound studio.
Windows XP is a commercial product. If your Compaq came with this pre-installed you need to go back to the retailer for a copy of the OEM product or you need to purchase a version of the operating system from Microsoft or a retail vendor. Downloading pirate copies of commercial software is theft and illegal and supply information on how to do illegal actions.
