Who sings i love you this big?

Jay Smith in Texas. He wrote the song in 2005. He currently works for a company called A-Mark and he also has a beautiful voice I know cause we ask him to sing for us at work on Sundays. I wish he would audition for American Idol.

Scotty McCreery did not write his single, "I Love You This Big." I have, however, heard that he is planning to get a degree in songwriting so he can write his own songs. I think he'd gain a lot of credibility by writing his own music. I also think the songwriters associated with Idol are trying to make him sound like a little boy. Little boys do not have big voices. It doesn't work.
