Originally written and performed by Paul McCartney in a 1969 demo made at Abbey Road Studios and later recorded by Apple Records band Badfinger for a film called The Magic Christian.
McCartney had contracted to produce three songs for the film and hired Badfinger (then called The Iveys) to record the songs, but they had to perform "Come and Get It" exactly the way McCartney had played it on the demo.
Although this demo appeared on a later Beatles anthology, McCartney was the only Beatle writer and performer on this song.

It appears to be a modern recording, made to sound old, with an unknown singer. (Some people have replied Al Jolson, but they're confusing this song with "California, Here I Come".)
