They had two: Neil Aspinall and Mal Evans. Aspinall was a friend of Pete Best's, and lodged with the Best family when he was studying to be an accountant. He stayed on with The Beatles after Best's departure from the band. Evans was hired as his assistant. Both later served on the board of the Beatles' company Apple Corps. Evans eventually left Apple; Aspinall later became its managing director. He held that post until stepping down in 2008, a few months before his death of cancer.
