There is no truth to the rumour that Linkin Park did a cover. They never sang "Headstrong". That is a big misconception. They did not. What you may hear on YouTube and other places is actually Trapt's demo version, the one before the final version on their debut album. You will not find the song on any of Linkin Park's albums, a video of Linkin Park actually singing the song or a statement on any OFFICIAL Linkin Park website saying that they've done a cover. That alone should be proof to anyone that they have not done a cover of the song.
