TTL is preferred in n-mos technology because it produces more heat and thus it's preferable in microcontroller circuit but c-mos does not produce waste heat which is why TTL is not preferred in c-mos.

What is submicron cmos technology?

The sub-micron CMOS technology has channel length less than 1 micrometer

What is a CMOS processor?

CMOS is a type of material, not a specific type of processor. That is short for Complementary Metal Oxide Silicon. CMOS devices tend to use less power and tend to be faster than their older counterparts. So a CMOS processor is a processor made using the CMOS material. For instance the V20 chip is a 3rd party CMOS variation of Intel's 8088 CPU. The V20 is 10-20% faster and uses less power than the 8088.

Why you using micro controller NoT micro processor?

Microcontroller have inbuilt memory, interrupts, etc. Which you will need to connect externally in microprocessor. Thus, Microcontroller is better than microprocessors

Will msp430 microcontroller process more than 16 bit number?

Any microcontroller can handle numbers wider than the bus width of the micro (16 bits in the case of the msp430). It simply requires use of features such as the Carry bit in the Status register. A C-language compiler for the MSP430 will produce code to allow for processing of numbers larger than 16 bits. Use data type "Long" for a 32-bit integer.

Advantages of FPGA spartan over microcontroller?

FPGA Spartan is more efficient than the microcontroller. It is used to perform operations that cannot be properly done by microcontrollers; operations like high parallel or low latency operation.

Why you not use other than cmos?

Because ROMs are designed using MOS technology.

Why cmos is used more than other transistor?

Lower power dissipation (except at very very high switching rates, as almost all the power dissipated by CMOS is during switching).

What can be done to protect the CMOS Setup program from accidental change?

always ensure you have a healthy cmos battery as if it dies then all changes to the bios will usually be removed unless the motherboard has more than 1 battery

Why is CMOS better than single MOSFETs?

CMOS is better than single MOSFETs because the complementary MOSFETs in CMOS always have one off and the other on, reducing the idle current to only leakage current and the output voltage exactly equal that of either the power or ground as there is no voltage drop across the MOSFET that is on. With just one MOSFET the device draws current anytime it is in the on state, even if idle.

Does the Canon EOS 300D have an APS-C or full frame CMOS sensor?

The Canon 300D is an APS CMOS sensor measuring 22.7 x 15.1 (slightly larger than the 350D's 22.2 x 14.8 mm). In contrast, the 1Ds full frame CMOS sensor was 35.8 x 23.8 mm (2002).
