Actually many rivers run north in North America. Water has no sense of direction. If flows downhill by gravity. Most rivers east of the Rocky Mountains do flow in a southerly direction because the elevation is lower to the south and they are flowing toward the Gulf of Mexico.

All rivers DON'T flow in the same direction, in the sense of North or West, but they do all flow down hill because that is the way gravity and water interact.
A diode is one of the fundamental building blocks of electronics. They allow the flow of electrons in one direction only. Thus are commonly used as rectifiers to turn ac voltages into dc. [A dry cell (mistakenly called a battery, which is a group of cells) will allow electron flow in one direction only, or rather, it will provide current flow in one direction. ]
because your arteries are being pumped on a same vessal. if you were to lay out all off those vessels, you would see its all one beg flow of blood.

The divide separates how the rivers flow from one place to another. In the northern part of the divide, the rivers flow to Lake Erie, while in the southern part of the divide, the rivers flow to the Ohio river.
Diodes convert AC into DC by allowing current flow in one direction only. Since AC is alternating between plus and minus it is not possible to use a diode to allow AC to flow in one direction and not in the other direction.
The direction of lymph flow is always towards the Thoracic Lymph duct .
the taxonomy flow is when tiers drive the drive the flow of tax in one direction.
it allows flow only on one side... the return path (opposite flow ) not possible..
The two major rivers that flow through Iraq are the Tigris River and the Euphrates River. These rivers are essential water sources for irrigation and agriculture in the region and have played a significant role in the history and development of ancient civilizations like Mesopotamia.

A valve allows flow in only one direction. Diodes allow electrical current to flow in one direction only.
