the top 3 for American Idol 2009 was Danny gokey kis Allen and Adam Lambert. and Danny gokey was voted off. people believe that since Danny gokey's style was more like Kris Allen's, Danny's voters switched to Kris, and gave Kris enough votes to win, but i really thought Adam should have won.

∙ 11y agoAdam was never on America's Got Talent. In 2009 he was a contestant on American Idol in Season 8. In an interview Adam said he knew he wanted to be a musical artist but he found it was very difficult to get signed and be discovered. He knew he needed to have a platform and exposure and American Idol was the thing that would supply that for him because AI, if he could get on it, was viewed by 30 million people worldwide a night. So he auditioned and came in second and got the recording contract he wanted.
