TI actually wrote this song about a man he did an interview with in LA. That guy was such an amazing guy i had the privilege of meeting him while i was in a bootcamp in El Monte a couple months ago. He had a beyond hard life and was pretty much born into a gang. he got into a fight and was dying behind some bushes when some stranger found him and called 911 for him. He was on the brink but able to pull through and now he is blind and paralyzed from the waist down. it was remarkable though when i met him how in tune he was with our class and his story really hit me and made me change my ways quick. i cant remember this mans name but he was awesome with a truly amazing story. This song is HIS story as well as i know some of it might be TI's. But if anyone who reads this ever gets the chance to meet this man, youll know what i now know about this song and now that i know the deeper meaning, this song is so much more to me now than a song. it is true inspiration
