if your alternator is gone or going your car will start and then eventually just stop running because your battery has gone dead. it typically will not make any sound when your engine is not running because of a dead battery.
earth will not be gone. earth is still there as we live in earth
It measures distance for the car, it is not dependent on engine run time.
A bad connection inside the ignition switch will keep it from turning the engine over.
It may be that the engine coolant temprature sensor has gone faulty. It may well be sending the wrong signal to the ECM causing the ECM to think the engine is hot when in fact the engine is cold.
Yes, most definitely but will run rich as engine temperature plays a big roll in fuel / air mixture.
Alternator has gone or is going out.
Could be your ac compressor is going or gone, probably gone.
Start the vehicle.. and disconnect the positive terminal of your battery.. if the engine dies.. your alternater needs attention.
I have a 1995 Nissan Sentra and the same thing happened to me about two weeks ago. The problem was a wire going from the alternator had gone bad. So your problem can be the same thing or the alternator. I had just replaced my alternator so I knew it had to be something else.
it means your alternator is probably gone, and u need to replace it
That's the first place I'd look if an engine had no compression.
its the trany going out.
Auto Zone will check your alternator for free...
If you question the condition of your alternator, drive to your local auto parts store and they will test the charging system for you at no cost.
Yes, "gone" and "swan" rhyme because they both end in the "-awn" sound.
Only disconnect it when ready to replace the alternator. The primary function of the battery is to store electricity needed to start the car. Secondarily, it stores electricity for use powering the electrical items on the car when the engine is off. If the alternator is not producing sufficient power to run the engine, the battery takes over. Once the battery is drained of its power, the engine will stop. You can jump-start a car whose alternator is faulty but battery is connected, and the car may run for a short time before the battery dies. If there is no battery, the car will start but not stay running once the jump device or cables are disconnected.
water pump or seal gone bad
