Grandmother stopped Giovanni's piano lessons because she believed he was not putting enough effort into practicing and improving his skills. She felt that without dedication and commitment, his musical education would be futile. Additionally, she may have thought it was best for him to focus on other interests where he could excel. Her decision reflected her desire for him to pursue activities that aligned with his talents and passions.
Beethoven didn't stop playing piano until the day he died :) Actually, on his death bed, he said to his wife, "Bring me a piano, that I may play one more tune before I pass on to the other side." And she did, so he was literally playing piano as he died.

You're never too old for swimming lessons. It depends on experience, not age. If you can stay floating and move without your feet touching the ground, you are most likely ready to stop taking lessons. You'll get better with practice.
teach him a lesson

Tell them to stop if that does not work tell him/her to go get ice cream from mom or dad. Then put a sign on the piano that says -DO NOT TOUCHWhile they are playing throw a blanket over their hands and part of the piano. They have to stop what they are doing to remove the blanket and chances are they will get up to hide blanket. Take their spot or close the lid and sit on it.
No stop watching family guy.
1. Walk up to piano. 2. Hit 2 or more notes simultaneously. 3. Walk away from piano. 4. stop being a moron

This is a conversation that needs to happen between the Mom and grandmother, so the 16-year-old won't be in the middle. The strongest option is to stop the 16-year-old from visiting his grandmother if the grandmother cannot respect boundaries. But, a 16-year-old is hard to control, especially if his grandmother is undermining you. If this is happening, there are probably several other areas in which your mother is undermining you, as well. Tell her the three things you will no longer allow and stop the 16-year-old from visiting if she disobeys again.
