Radios are useful to hear news broadcast and such you can hear your favoite song or such not questions like these have many possible answers pretty much for the same reasons books are to entertain or inform

∙ 12y agoyou listen to a radio for different reasons one is that you can get information on whats happening or that's called updating two you can listen to music on the radio three you can give in or do public broad castings and debates on the radio too .if you see the radio is there for many things such as having fun, getting updated, getting information on news or headlines. and there is also a good reason why you should have a radio so that you can know of any trouble or disaster problems coming your way or in some parts of the world.

It is good to keep in touch with what is going on in the world, and while you can do that with newspapers as well, radio is faster; you can get hourly updates at least, depending upon the stations that are available in your particular broadcasting area. You can also use computers or televisions for similar purposes. The main advantage of radios is that they are simpler devices than either computers or televisions, and they are the least likely to become unusable due to technical difficulties of various types. Unlike computers or televisions, radio produces sound only, with no visual component, but that also can be very convenient at times, when you are doing something else (such as washing dishes) and you would like to hear something in the background, for added entertainment. So radios have their uses. But I would not say that you necessarily need a radio, given that there are other options that work quite well. Anything you can obtain by radio can also be obtained by computer.
