If your Sirius radio sounds like AM through your factory radio, it could be due to a few factors. Firstly, check the antenna connection; a poor or misaligned antenna can lead to weak signals and degraded sound quality. Additionally, ensure that the radio is properly set to the Sirius mode and not experiencing interference from other electronic devices. Lastly, consider the quality of the factory radio's audio processing, which might not handle satellite signals as well as aftermarket options.

The sound from the radio reaches Simon through a process that starts with the radio broadcasting signals encoded with audio content. These signals travel through the air as electromagnetic waves, and the radio receiver captures them using its antenna. The radio then decodes the signals and converts them into electrical signals, which are amplified and transformed into sound waves through the speakers, allowing Simon to hear the broadcast.

Radio sound is heard through the use of radio waves, which are electromagnetic waves that can carry information from one point to another. These waves are transmitted from a radio station and received by a radio receiver, such as a radio or smartphone, which then converts the waves into sound waves that we can hear.
