This should not be. Have you opened the little sound on the very top. Open it and you will hear the sound. It looks like little arrow. It also allows you to make the sound lower or louder.
depends on the kind of aux on the amp or the lead of the headset
You could get a cheap jack adapter from an electronics store like radio shack, and plug directly into your computer via the line-in or microphone (louder) jack. This would be converting stereo grade sound to mono, so sound quality would be lost; also being that an amplifier's sound processing is tailored for guitar, whereas the computer's is not. Unless you have a preamp to run your guitar to, then run your preamp to your computer, there will be sound quality loss, and possible fluctuation in volume levels, but if you just want to jam out, it works. The cool thing is, you can get some sound effect programs from the internet for free that can simulate guitar pedals.
its because your guitar amp doesn't provide the phantom power needed for the mic.But if you plug into some mixing console, you surely will be able to hear it coz they provide phantom powers.
All you have to do is plug it into your computer
A guitar amp, sound board, or computer I/O recording device.
only plug in the microphone plug into your computer while still plugging in the speakers.
you can use a adapter
You could get an audio jack, plug it into your sound out section, then you can plug in some regular headphones(like iPod ones) and you have your electric guitar headset!
Buy a new one if you can't replace the headset's battery, as the battery is dead.
When in doubt, put it in the green socket. It might also be marked as "speaker" or "headphones." You can try the headset plug in front if there is one there. Otherwise, try the green or "speaker" socket in the back if there is one there.
You plug the headset underneath the controller.
i think you plug the headset into your tv
The Turtle Beach X12 should not make any "farting" noises when you plug it into the controller. You may need to take the headset back to store and replace them.
You can do that but results will not be as goos as an external mic.
You can't plug your headset plug into the headset jack without cutting off the speaker(s) because the tip of the plug physically disengages the contacts carrying the audio to the speakers and re-reroutes it to the headset. It might be possible to file off most of the tip of the headset plug so that it does not disengage the jack speaker contacts, but this is likely result in low headset volume as the audio amplifier now has to contend with the resistance of both the speaker and the headset.
"Your Turtle Beach X12 makes a farting sound whenever you plug it into your scuf controller because it shows that you have been connected." but its a constant farting sound - person who asked question
you need to plug it out
