I have a 1994 Mercury Cougar that runs good but burns alot of fuel and after the engine starts the and gets some heat, oil pressure gauge indicates low when there is nothing wrong. I have the same problem with a 1991 Mercury Cougar 3.8, doesn't burn fuel that much but a mechanician told me that it might be a miscontact on the gauge indicator, some dirt in oil pan blocking oil pump or the oil pump is going off. First thing to do is changing oil and filter replacing it by syntec oil in it so it will stay in engine more time when heating. If after that nothing changed check oil pressure at a local garage.
it might be gauge failure. jeep's were bad about gauge's going bad

Nothing!
nothing what is wrong with you
Hahahaha, no silly. Nothing is wrong with youtube itself. But mabye some people on youtube have cursed or done some not necessary things. Youtube is simply a website where people make videos. Nothing wrong with the site itself.
The oil pressure light is on due to the fact that there is no pressure from the oil, fill it up, and if that does not fix it, check for faulty wiring. P.S. There is no such thing as "Blinker Fluid."
Bad oil pressure sending unit?
It relays bad info to the gauge. If you have a GM, it is probably what is wrong.
Your check gauge light comes on if : your coolant temperature guage shows the temperature is high your oil pressure gauge shows the oil pressure is low or your fuel gauge shows the fuel tank is near empty
Check your oil pressure gauge, if your just going by what it says the gauge might be wrong Iv had this happen bout 4ish times and its always the tube running to the oil pressure gauge is pinched so its not getting a good reading.
It is quite possible in a 1996 Mercury Cougar, that when the dashboard instruments all quit at once, there is a fuse that has been blown. Most of the gauges in the dash run off the same fuse in most vehicles.

What signal?
Have a manual gauge installed temposrarily and see if the sending unit is not correct. If it is you have engine problens.
it might be gauge failure. jeep's were bad about gauge's going bad
Your gauge Could Be Reading Wrong, Sender Bad Ect. Other Things If Oil Pressure Is Bad. Oil Pump Bad, Cam Bearings Bad, Crankshaft And Rod Bearings Bad. Have Your Oil Pressure Tested By A Mechanic With A Pressure gauge To Get The True Pressure. It May Just Be A Bad Oil Pressure Sender. Also You Need To Use The Recommended Weight Of Oil. Best Place To Start Have Pressure Tested. Good Luck
