Why don't more people hate the beatles?

People are probably too scared to admit that there are more important things in life, or maybe they're just plain stupid and believe that everything will be okay if they like them, which is not the case at all. People only like them because their music makes them feel good, not because the music itself is good, because it isn't; people think their music is good when it actually is not. I'll never understand that.
