Sequoias do not grow along the coast primarily due to their specific environmental requirements, which include well-drained soils and a climate with distinct seasonal changes. Coastal areas often have higher humidity and more consistent temperatures, which are not conducive to the growth of sequoias that thrive in drier, mountainous regions. Additionally, competition with other plant species and the effects of coastal winds can limit their establishment in those areas.

In Northern California in the Sequoia National Forest.
These trees are very similar with the redwood being a bit taller in and slimmer in general. Redwoods often grow to 300-350 feet, while Sequoias seldom exceed 270 feet.
No, but as stated in Muir Woods National Park (Marin County,CA), there used to be redwoods and sequoias on the east coast but they were cut down centuries ago. There are some sequoias and redwoods in people's yards that grow to 30-70 feet.
Sequoia trees typically grow around 160 to 270 feet in height, however some sequoias have been recorded to be as tall as 311 feet. Sequoias also have a trunk width of about 20 to 26 feet in diameter and the thickest sequoia ever recorded had a diameter of 57 feet.

Yes, willow trees can grow on the west coast of the United States. They thrive in moist environments, such as near rivers, streams, and wetlands, which are present in many parts of the west coast. Be sure to choose a willow species that is well-suited to the specific climate and conditions of the region you are in.
Alfalfa is a technical term for lucerne and it will not grow on the coast - lucerne is a dry climate crop and will not grow there

Sequoia trees will die if planted in New York State for two reasons: Sequoias need a mild climate with not much variation from summer to winter, and they need a lot of moisture. Sequoia leaves wilt in high temperatures and may be killed by hard frost, and there is nowhere in New York State that doesn't have high temperatures, hard frost, or both. Where sequoias grow on the West Coast, close to the Pacific Ocean, it does not rain regularly throughout the year as in New York State. It rains there mostly in winter, but the lack of rain in summer doesn't matter because of the frequent fogs. The fogs protect the sequoias from drought and heat because the trees can absorb the moisture from the air.
No they dont grow up,i dont know if they will update it
