This is a good question, and one that brings me back to childhood (I am 57). I recall watching cartoons and hearing pieces of Classical Music in the background. Times and culture change, and they change fast. Back then, television was a relatively new medium. People figured out what it took to use the medium primarily to sell things; that has driven the development of the medium since then. There ARE magnificent programs on, and I am not dissing the entire industry. But I think it's fair to say that the TV world in general both reflects and influences the current culture of speed, stimulation and dumbing-down. == Another answer is rather mundane. The classic cartoons such as Buggs Bunny, Mickey Mouse, and Popeye were subdivisions of major motion picture studios. These animation studios were owned by giants of the industry such as Paramount and Warner Brothers Studios who had orchestras and illustrious conductors as musical directors on staff. These silly little shorts were screened by these executives and, simply because they could, were scored and conducted by studio orchestras. It never occurred to these industry giants that a cartoon was not an integral part of the movie going experience, so they were just as careful about cartoon scoring as any other studio output.
The answer to this question relies more on opinions and tastes. "Modern music" contains lots of auto-tuning and synthesising, which makes songs kind of fake compared to "Old music". Music is an art and, as with all arts, is to express emotions or thoughts. With "old music" this was the case - you have somewhat meaningful lyrics that were not dominated by the instruments. Compared with "modern music" that focus on selling as many albums as possible and so are superficial and meaningless.
I'm sorry for that hideous comment left behind by the previous editorAt modern masquedes, (if any) they usually play ballads and slow songs.

Actually, although Rap music is often considered to be a rather modern type of music, it has been found that it has deeper roots. Rap music actually evolved from African roots, and is considered to be "spoken words" music. It appears that Rap originated in the early 1900's.
Snoopy was a beagle in the Peanuts cartoons. He was known for his imaginative daydreams and his iconic dog house.

As the moon is an inanimate object and does not possess consciousness or the ability to watch cartoons, it does not have preferences for any specific kind of cartoons. The moon's surface reflects sunlight, appearing to change shape throughout the month due to its orbit around the Earth. It does not have the capacity to watch or enjoy entertainment like cartoons.
The clarinet can play any genre of music from old-timey jazz to modern day rock and pop. The only limitation is the skill of the musician.
