I've heard he's sweet to fans at shows. He's nice to them. If you watch his interviews and stuff, he's generally pretty cool.
But he's also an ass sometimes. He's cheated on his (ex?)girlfriend Lisa before and I've heard he generally doesn't treat her very well. Alex can be very sex-crazed sometimes, and he's definitely a partier.
So it's up to you to decide if you think he's nice or not, but I think his bad outweighs his good and he's not a very nice person.
