i believe that the radio is controlled by more than one fuse. The fuse marked radio may be good but the radio runs through other circuits as well. Check all fuses and quite possibly look for a shorted light( ie. under the hood, engine light) That was causing the problem on mine. It had shorted out and kept blowing the fuse everytime it was replaced. Fixed the short, replace the fuse and radio works fine now. Get a wiring schematic and follow the paths that connect to the radio, then check those components for shorts.
Check and make sure you have all the wires connected correctly especially the ground wire for the unit itself.
Possibly a blown fuse.

Below the Radio was created in 2004.
Make sure that the amp is grounded.
Rustbelt Radio was created in 2004-05.
Did you check to make sure your speaker wires were all connected properly? And there isn't anything touching the chassis of your car? Usually when the radio turns on but the music don't play is because A. the speaker wires aren't connected properly or there is a short in one of the wires B.your head unit is fried so bad that it won't play any sound What you should do is check your wires behind your dashboard and if something looks astray you will know right away.. Also make sure there is no factory amp and if there is make sure u hook your blue white from radio to the blue of your car harness and that will turn on the amp
