Did you make sure the contact points in the remote for the batteries were making good contact? Try taking a pencil eraser and rubbing them to make sure you have a clean surface for your good batteries. Does it light up when you push the button? If not you probably have a connection inside the remote that has come undone. In this case, unless your an elelctronic's guru,....you will need to replace it. Also you may want to make sure there isn't a valet switch under the dash on the drivers side, usually near where the hood release is. If there isn't one you may need to ask the dealer to check that the transponder in the Jeep still works. it could be something as simple as a bad sensor or a blown fuse within the security system. Do the power locks work without the remote? if they don't, check your fuses.
