My best guess is because they thought Madonna would be too old to play Princess Selenia and that considering Selena has a similar first name and is so much closer to the princess’s age, the filmmakers decided “Why not?” and just rolled with it… wait a minute. Isn’t Selena Marie Gomez the same person that broke up with a lot of men (including a Jonas Brother to begin with) and (what’s worse is that she) nearly killed Francia Raiza who did her the biggest favour by giving her a new kidney just for her to keep wasting it on drinking and continuously having lupus beyond rehabilitation?!?!?!?! So then why would Selena be the one who took off and Francia be the one to be messed with/depopularized?!?!?!?!
