∙ 2005-09-11 00:24:02heater core may be leaking, check to see if liquid is antifreeze, use a white cloth to see if fluid is green or pink. smell may also indicate what the fluid is. if you are low on antifreeze in radiator that may be the cause. a heater core can be purchased at any auto parts store & can be installed by anyone with general knowledge of tools & automobiles. The wetness can also becoming for the air conditioner. If this is happening during the summer, that is probably the cause. Check and see it any of the drain holes are plugged up with leaves or dirt. I believe either the evaporator or dryer is also behind the dash.
