I received a moving violation ticket in New York. Will there be points added to my Massachusetts license for this violation?
California will place the violation against those stated in a provisional license agreement on record. The person is fined $100 and has the license taken away.
In the state of New Hampshire traffic school does not erase violations, it will deduct points against your license you have received because of violations. If you receive too many points, you lose your license for some determined amount of time. I have also heard that the more points you have, the higher your insurance is too.
Absolutely. You have one drivers license. The ticket is tied to this drivers license number and therefore will go on your driving record no matter what state the license is from. It will definitely show up on your record.
Points against your license, no. But it does put points... and a pretty substantial number of them, at that... on your CSA report.
it depends on if you hit something or not. a point may be applied to your license, if so, then you will be contacted by your local DMV.

All driving records are interconnected now by scanning your license. A ticket in Connecticut will be on the national driving record database. It will count as points against your license.

In california? My wife got fined $230!!
According to the Federal Motor Carrier Administration Regulations, this would be a non moving violation, 393.60 in the Federal Regulations. The regs state that "Each person who operates a commercial motor vehicle, who has a commercial driver's license issued by a State or jurisdiction, and who is convicted of violating, in any type of motor vehicle, a State or local law relating to motor vehicle traffic control This shouldn't be counted against your driving license, but ultimately it's the state you live in that determines the difference between a moving violation and a non moving violation. In Idaho, at least, it would not count against your license because equipment violations are not considered to be moving violations. It will affect the safety rating of the company only if a qualified officer conducted a Level 1, 2, or 3 inspection.
Yes. If you do not pay the ticket a warrent will be placed against you and will be on your license. The next time you get checked for anything on your license it will show up.
The violation should tell you what your options are and how fast you should do something about the violation

A point gained in another state cannot be transferred to another state. If you are charged in a state with a traffic offense, another state can't just transfer it over to theirs.============================Which contradicts this:I have a Florida license and received a traffic ticket in another state. Will this affect my Florida driving record? If you hold a Florida license and have received a ticket in another state, they will send Florida the ticket information and it will be added to your record. You will receive points on your license if the ticket is a point-accessible violation according to Florida Statute 322.27(3). Florida law does not allow any school or program to remove points for a ticket received in another state. http://www.hsmv.state.fl.us/ddl/faqsuspend.html#11[exact text] (e) A conviction in another state of a violation therein which, if committed in this state, would be a violation of the traffic laws of this state, or a conviction of an offense under any federal law substantially conforming to the traffic laws of this state, except a violation of s. 322.26, may be recorded against a driver on the basis of the same number of points received had the conviction been made in a court of this state.
yes its against the law to not have a business license.
