Dear mommy,
No hey did not.
Give your reference only one day to write the letter.
The letter must not be so formal but it must be in the context of love.
The same way you contact anyone. Call him/her, write a letter, or send an email.
The letter can be written full of love and not in a formal format.
If they are a good rock band, like Green Day, then yes. Yes they do.
Letter-writing etiquette dictates that the author of the letter dates the letter on the day they write it, so that date is the only one that appears on the letter.
I dunno if they will now. In 1995 when Green Day's Insomnia came out a lady sent a letter to Green Day about how her 8 yr. old son liked their song "When I Come Around" so she bought him their Insomniac CD. The lady complained about the course language questioned the material mentioned in the songs. Billie Joe Armstrong (lead vocals/guitar) responded talking about how she was a bad parent for buying that CD for her 8 yr. old son and how he doesn't write songs for families, he writes songs for himself. Billie Joe read and responded to a letter then, but who's to say that he will still do that 14 years later.
