You have a suspended license but need to get to work. Can an officer run your plates without observing an actual violation and pull you over solely for the suspended license?

Yes. It happens all the time. Try applying at the DOL for a temporary restricted license, they'll let you get to and from work for certain hours of the day, and certain days of the week.

You will be charged with driving while your license is suspended. Whether or not you're on probation doesn't effect this particular offense. If you were on probation, driving with a suspended license is probably a violation of your probation, and a whole different issue.

FYI- A revoked license is not as bad as A suspended license, When your license is revoked, All you have to do is go take the test again.

Yes it is. If your license is suspended in any state and you get a new license in a different state then you are driving illegally. Tow it away. States honor each others laws.
