I recently experienced this same problem. I finally had it properly diagnosed as a broken skirt on the number 6 cylinder. I replaced the engine because it seemed to be the least expensive way to solve the problem. I was out about $1500, but was worth it in the long run. I kept the original engine and am planning on rebuilding it someday soon to have a replacement in the future of sell it to recoup some of my money. Hope this helps. Dean
Short circuit in your vehicle alarm system. In most alarms, some lights will flash on and off as an indicator of an attempted break in.
NO - is this a GRAND Cherokee or XJ? What engine does it have? smoth side of belt, to smooth pullies, groved side to groved pullies. Only the right belt will fit. Hope you gave the parts store more info than us or chances are, you have the wrong belt.
Just replaced the headlight bulbs in a 98 Grand Cherokee that had the same problem. It had the wrong bulbs in it. It had 9007's in it. Calls for 9004's.
The diagnostic code 12 51 55 is actually not a code for the 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. The 12 means that it has started searching for codes. The 51 is oxygen sensor stuck lean. The 55 means it is finished searching for codes. Getting this means nothing is wrong.
Nothing, the AC service connections accept only equipment made for environmental 134-A since 1994 NO FREON!
If it was rebuilt wrong, Yes
this is morally wrong on many levels it is not for humans to play god
Sounds like a low battery.
1) It's a Grand Cherokee. The frond end was designed in 1939. 2) have your tires checked on a machine that does road-force compensation.
Why would you want it to come on. Its not on because theres nothing wrong with your engine.

There are some engines that will "KNOCK" if the wrong oil filter is used but in most cases the engine must be disassembled and repaired
i have water on passengers side floorboard idoes this have something to do w/airconditioner
Your alternator maybe bad
Cold engine knock that goes away after warmup is usually piston slap. Worn pistons worn cylinder bores, wrong oil (too light) on a high mileage engine.

Engine lights don't normally come on for an oil change. You have more of a problem. I'd suggest you take your Jeep to an Auto Parts store and have them run their OBC-tester on it and get a print out of everything that's wrong.
