Yes you do tune drums. There are little parts on the rims of the drums. You tighten/loosen them USING YOUR DRUM KEY. This tightens/loosens the drum head. Tap the drum head by the part that you just tightened (called lugs). Get that sound to sound the same for every lug. and so on for every drum, of course with a lower sound though.

First you have to learn how to play drums. Not everyone is good at it. I have been playing drums for 7 years as of 2010 and I still cant read the music. Drums are a very hard instrument to master. I am probably just an amature if you ask me that question that is the answer that I would give you. Second you have to keep getting a bigger set of drums or you can just keep adding on to your first set. I play the drums for Justin bieber and it is really hard to read the music but I am learning how to every day. I am just a 13 year old kid from Lehighton PA. and I am playing drums for Justin bieber that is a huge accomplishment. I am also a Purple Belt going for a Brown Belt at the end of January. The exact date is January 27th 2010 I will be testing for my black belt either at the end of this year or at the end of 2011. I am going to master in Korean Karate/ Tae Kwon Do Chung Do Kwan at a small karate school at the lehighton annex building in lehighton PA. viewers of this message should come out to lehighton and check out Mountain Karate Academy or you can go to our website that iswww.mountainkarate.com.
