Son clave and rumba clave are both rhythmic patterns used in Latin music, but they have distinct differences. Son clave is a 3-2 pattern, meaning it has three notes followed by two notes. Rumba clave, on the other hand, is a 2-3 pattern, with two notes followed by three notes. These differences in the arrangement of notes give each rhythm its own unique feel and groove.
Some examples of Latin rhythms in music include the salsa, samba, bossa nova, rumba, and merengue. These rhythms are commonly found in Latin American and Caribbean music genres.
The only difference between Rumba and Samba is Rumba is the question that you will ask if someone told you "Go there" nad you will answer "Rumba?(Room ba?) o sa court? while Samba is the ceremony that Iglesia is doing inside there church.

Clave is African-Cuban music. Clave is a pattern of rhythm used in such types of music as samba, salsa, rumba and so on. The instrument is a percussion instrument consisting of two wooden dowels, beat together.
The clave rhythmic pattern is used in some African songs such as the rumba and conga de comparasa. Some other songs that use this type of rhythm include the mambo and salsa.

I think you mean to play a latin beat...sorry if I assumed incorrectly. But if I'm correct then it means to play a drum beat using the "clave" patterns such as the "Son Clave", "Rumba Clave", and "Bossa Clave" which can all three be played in 2/3 or 3/2 (2/3 reffering to two hits in the first measure and three hits in the second measure, not the time signature). The time signature can be 4/4 or 6/8 for these rhythms, but I've most commonly seen them in 4/4 time. You can learn more about these rhthms on youtube if you have it, go to the main menu and type "drumlessons.com" and look for "claves" or something like that. You can also go to "drumstyles.com" it might have something on there about the clave patterns.

The Caribbean dance that resembles a slow rumba is called "bolero." Originating in Cuba, bolero features smooth, romantic movements and is often performed to slow, melodic music. This dance emphasizes close partner connection and graceful, flowing steps, making it a perfect fit for slower rhythms similar to those found in rumba. It's popular in various Latin American countries and often incorporated into ballroom dancing.
