If it's what I think it is, that would be Brian Setzer Orchestra, singing "Jump, Jive, and Wail." If you find that song and listen to it, and it sounds like the same one, let me know if I'm right! Here's another thought, back in the 90's when this commercial was being used, Gap may have used both the original Louis Prima version and the Brian Setzer version at different times, I seem to remember both. August 15, 2007: I wrote to gap.com last year to settle a bet with someone, and they informed me that the version of "Jump, Jive and Wail" used in their commercial was indeed Louis Prima's not the BSO.
YES! that song is indeed by the one and only Beach Boys, I know there's an answer, from Pet Sounds. Alternatively, Hang On To Your Ego, Brian Wilson's personal version of it. The boys didn't prefer his negative refrain with the ego dash, so they recorded I Know There's An Answer instead. On his own, Brian recorded a vocal track alone singing the different refraint, Hang On To Your Ego. It's well-haunting. enjoy it!
on itunes, if you click on the song and click info, on one of the tabs, there will be two boxes, one containing 00:00, and the other will contain how long the song is. these two boxes tell the ipod at which point to start and stop the song. say there was a 10 second gap at the start and finish of a song you wanted to skip, simply change the first box to 00:10, so it skips the first 10 seconds of the song, and take 10 seconds off the second box to tell it to skip the last 10 seconds of the song. then simply plug your ipod in and press sync

German Lied music is a type of classical song that typically features a solo voice accompanied by piano. It is known for its emotional depth, poetic lyrics, and intimate expression. Lied music played a significant role in the development of classical music, bridging the gap between folk music and art music. Composers like Schubert, Schumann, and Brahms were key figures in the Lied tradition, influencing later composers and shaping the Romantic era of music.
