No, Brian McKnight was never a part of the vocal group Take 6. Take 6 is an a cappella group known for their jazz and gospel influences, formed in 1987. While McKnight has had a successful solo career as an R&B artist, he was not a member of this specific group.
As of my last update in October 2023, Joseph Sylvers, the father of the singing group The Sylvers, had passed away on March 6, 2023. The Sylvers, known for their contributions to the music scene in the 1970s, included several siblings who achieved success together. Please verify with the latest sources for any updates beyond that date.

Practice Makes Perfect as the old saying goes, but if you love singing get your voice trained! Or you can post videos of you singing on youtube and ask for peoples opinions! I love to sing too and when i was about 4, i could make people cry because of my voice. For 6 years after that my voice wasn't as good, but in February I sung for the parents and students of my school and the good comments boosted my confidence and I can't stop singing nowadays! I hope I make it as a singer! xxxI hope this helps y'all!

He started singing when he was 6 or 7
I believe he was 6 yrs old. He was born in 1958 and if the group was formed in 1964, that makes him 6 years old. He was 11 years old when the group really got their big break.
