How do you measure Sub-Cooling for a R-22 AC system

SUB-COOLING IS THE THE "HEAT BELOW SATURATION". THE SUB-COOLING LEAVING THE CONDENSER IS CALCULATED BY TAKING THE (ACTUAL)CONDENSING TEMPERATURE AND THEN SUBTRACTING (MINUS)THE LIQUID REFRIGERANT TEMPERATURE (USE THE CHART)LEAVING THE CONDENSER.=THE SUBCOOLING.

NORMAL SUBCOOLING AT THE CONDENSER OUTLET SHOULD BE 10*F.

THIS WILL ENSURE THAT LIQUID WILL NOT FLASH INTO VAPOR BEFORE IT GETS TO THE

EXPANSION VALVE, SHOULD THERE BE A SLIGHT INCREASE IN TEMPERATURE OR A SLIGHT DECREASE IN PRESSURE DUE TO A PRESSURE DROP.

SUB COOLING INCREASES CAPACITY & PREVENTS FLASH GAS IN THE LIQUID LINE AHEAD OF THE EXPANSION VALVE.

I HOPE THIS IS VERY CLEAR, AND HELPS U FIGURE OUT HOW TO MEASURE IT.

Is an ac 44ts or 45ts hotter?

An AC 45TS would typically be hotter than an AC 44TS. This is because the AC unit's cooling capacity is measured in BTUs, and a higher BTU rating denotes a more powerful cooling capability.

What is an open short circuit on your ac compressor?

An open short circuit on an AC compressor refers to a failure where the electrical circuit is interrupted, preventing the compressor from receiving power. This can occur due to issues like a broken wire, a blown fuse, or a malfunctioning relay, leading to the compressor not operating at all. As a result, the cooling system may fail to function, causing inadequate or no cooling in the space being conditioned. Identifying and repairing the open circuit is essential for restoring proper AC operation.

What is the ac voltage reading between the bare copper wire and the hot black wire 120 vac or zero volt?

Should be about 120 VAC.

Why would the water temperature on a 1998 Ram 1500 5.9 be spiking irregularly around 240-250 if turning the AC off drops the temperature some?

Possibly a plugged (internally or externally) radiator. your A/C condensor is located in front of your radiator, and generates alot of heat of its own, when you turn on the A/C, your putting that heat directly through the cooling system. the radiator and coolant cant circulate fast enough to cool properly. when you turn off the A/C, incomming air flow cools just enough to bring your water temp down.

Should you use AC or DC to measure a dryers voltage?

The meter should be on the AC scale. In Canada and US the reading should be 240 on the outside blade holes and 120 volt from the outside blade holes to the center blade hole. The U shaped pin is the ground. No voltage from it to the center pin.

Compare 1200btu ac with 18000 btu ac?

A 12000btu AC is considered 1 ton of cooling. 18000btu is 1.5 tons. One ton of AC will give you the cooling you would get by melting one ton of ice. EPM

Why does AC stop working after a while and the car will overheat when AC is on on a 1995 Nissan 240sx?

Cooling fan not working, or your cooling system needs a complete service. The cooling fan should be on continuously when the A/C is on.

Do you prefer to have the windows open and the AC on, or do you prefer to keep the windows closed and rely solely on the AC for cooling?

Some people prefer to have the windows open and the AC on, while others prefer to keep the windows closed and rely solely on the AC for cooling.

What is the purpose of the AC drain pipe in a cooling system?

The purpose of the AC drain pipe in a cooling system is to remove excess moisture that accumulates during the cooling process, preventing water from leaking or causing damage to the system.

What is the purpose of the AC condenser pipe in a cooling system?

The purpose of the AC condenser pipe in a cooling system is to release heat from the refrigerant gas, allowing it to condense into a liquid form, which helps in cooling down the air inside the vehicle.

How effective are AC misting systems in cooling outdoor spaces during hot weather?

AC misting systems can be effective in cooling outdoor spaces during hot weather by lowering the temperature through the process of evaporative cooling.

What are the differences between a window AC unit and a wall AC unit in terms of installation, efficiency, and cooling capacity?

A window AC unit is typically easier to install and more affordable, but may be less efficient and have lower cooling capacity compared to a wall AC unit. Wall AC units are usually more efficient and have higher cooling capacity, but they are more complex to install and generally more expensive.

What are the benefits of using a portable AC duct for cooling a room?

Using a portable AC duct for cooling a room offers benefits such as easy installation, flexibility to move the unit around, and cost-effectiveness compared to traditional AC systems.

What would cause the ac on a 2002 KIA Sedona to blow out white smoke and quit cooling then later start back cooling?

Is it possible that it was steam and not smoke? If the AC freezes up, it will stop cooling until it thaws. Then, it will being to operate again.
