the are consumers, they eat as they please. lol
Clownfish, Flatworms and Gobys
I have been feeding mine sinking pellets. the dragon goby is a bottom feeder.
Yes, they do, it happens from time to time. Some believe the changes in coloration are related to the gender of the fish.
The Goby (Freshwater) eats small live foods, so, yes, they do eat baby fish. :)
Diamond gobys are a filter feeder. They will scoop up mouths of sand and filter food particles to eat while expelling clean sand back out. They also enjoy being fed frozen mysis shrimp among other prepared foods.
The short answer is yes. I would recommend although, if you do intend to keep them with small fishes such as Neons and Gobies, that you keep your BGK well fed and feed just before or when you turn the lights out as they are nocturnal hunters and they would rather "hunt" slow moving (or lifeless in the case of frozen foods) then expend greater energy on faster moving prey. Hope this helps you out.
Round gobies, an invasive fish species in the Great Lakes, can negatively impact the economy by disrupting local fisheries and recreational fishing industries. They compete with native fish for food and habitat, leading to declines in valuable fish populations like perch and walleye, which can reduce catches and associated revenues. Additionally, the increased costs of management and control efforts to mitigate their spread can strain resources for local governments and environmental agencies. Overall, the presence of round gobies can lead to significant economic losses in affected regions.
well, if you are fishing in the great lakes or freshwater, then, night crawlers will get a bite from just about any fish, but leeches get small mouths, and maggots get sun fish, and gobys, and steelhead, crayfish get small mouth, and largemouth, and sometimes catfish, wax worms get about the same, and minnows get crappie, walleye, perch, and many more..... just keep fishing and you will see, try many things.
