Crescent.
Solar eclipse happens when shadow of moon falls on sun. Solar eclipse cannot happen on full moon day because on full moon day earth is in between Sun and Moon and hence moon cannot cast shadow on sun.
No. The position the Moon has to be in for a full Moon is completely different than for a new moon. When we have a full Moon the Moon is on the opposite side of us to the Sun. When we have a new Moon, the Moon is on the same side of us as the Sun. It takes about 2 weeks for the Moon to go between those two positions, so it is not possible for it to happen on the same day.
The new moon is not visible in the sky as it rises and sets with the sun during the day. It's the moon phase when the moon is directly between the Earth and the sun, so it rises and sets with the sun and is not observable.
The last new moon was about 3 days ago; the next New Moon will occur on 24 February 2009 at 5:35 p.m. Pacific Standard Time.

"No-moon" would be more accurate, but it is traditionally known as "new moon".
It means that you are probably nervous, and it's completely normal. Lots of people have those sort of dreams, whether it's about having a bad interview, bad first day, or not making a good impression on a new work team. :)
