Probably not. The manufacturer has designed this as a three-phase to cut down on the total wattage required to run this kiln. Through the magic of 3-phase the power draw is 57% of what it would be for a single-phase kiln.

There is an item out there called a "phase converter" that lets you run a three phase item off single phase service. I've looked at these before, and they're expensive, noisy and inefficient. You're better off just buying a different kiln.

What household current do you need to power 460 volt motor?

There is no household current with which you can power a 460 volt motor.Normal US household power is 120/240VAC split phase. (Other countries have different configurations, but the answer remains the same.) Without a transformer, and a substantial power flow, you are not going to develop the voltage necessary to run a 460 volt motor. Even if you could generate that voltage, you still only have one phase available, and most 460 volt motors require three phase power. You could do this with an inverter, or a motor-generator set, but to be blunt, you are asking about a commercial application, not a household application.

Who manufactured 120 Volt Nova Ceramic Kilns?

Thermolyne Corporation

How can a 12 volt battery inverter give power to a house?

An inverter converts direct current into alternating current. An inexpensive 12 volt inverter is often used to convert 12 volt direct current from a battery to 120 volt alternating current to power small household appliances during a power failure. More expensive inverter systems with large batteries are also available for use with solar panels, wind generators, or other non-commercial power sources.

How do you use electric appliances in Israel?

You plug the appliance into the outlet. Israel uses 220-volt household current. Any 110-volt appliances brought from abroad will need a small transformer, which can be bought in appliance stores.

Can you convert an old 15 amp 125 volt electrical outlet to a household electrical outlet?

A 15 amp 125 volt outlet is a household outlet.

The unit to measure current is the volt?

The unit of current is the ampere. The unit of potential difference, or electromagnetic force is the volt.

What voltage is used by a car cigarette lighter?

A car cigarette lighter uses 12 volts direct current. Car electrical systems use 12 volts direct current verses the 120 volt alternating current use in most household situations.

How much current flows in a 12 watt radio connected to 120 volt circuit?

A 120V household electrical outlet supplies 12 watts of powerwhen the current is 0.1 Ampere (and the power factor is 100%).

To measure the voltage in a standard household electrical socket an electrician would you what settting on a volt meter?

An electrician would use the AC voltage setting on a voltmeter to measure the voltage in a standard household electrical socket. This setting is specifically designed to measure the alternating current voltage commonly found in household electrical systems.

Does vac stand for volt amp current or volt alternating current?

Vac usually stands for voltage alternating current. It represents the voltage of an alternating current electrical system.
