No, DNA isn't just found in the sperm and ovum. DNA is found in the nucleus of all cells in the body.
sperm head= contains DNA; also has acrosome (an enzyme to digest the membrane of the ovum) aids in egg penetration.
nucleus *DNA is located in the cytoplasm of prokaryotes, they have no nucleus. Also it is found in the capsule of certain virus proteins. It's in the sperm cell which has no nucleus as well.
Any chance you're doing the BSB yr9 science homework? Back to the topic...Genes are found in the head of the sperm cell and about the egg cell...No clue LOL
Yes. DNA is found in most human cells, in the nucleus. It is the main component of chromosomes. It is not found in cells without nuclei, like mature red blood cells, but white blood cells and other cels in your blood will contain it. Hair is useless for DNA testing unless it has been pulled out by the root, because the hair itself, without the follicle cells that produce it, is just protein.
DNA always remains in the sperm, that is how variation happens.

An ovum or egg is what is called a 'gamete'. A gamete is a cell produced for sexual purposes by a special process of cell division called meiosis in which the number of chromosomes per cell is cut in half. Thus the ovum has only 1/2 the amount of DNA needed to make new baby.In male's meiosis produces sperm and the joining together of the male's sperm and the female's ovum - fertilization - makes the new 'embryo' which now has the correct amount of DNA to make the baby.
The head of the sperm holds the DNA for the male as it swims to the ovum. The head of the sperm also has the acrosome, it contains enzymes that eats away and breaks into the ovum.
Yes, that is how babies get DNA

Yes, it is totally possibly but the probability is lower because in the stuff that's ejaculated there is stuff called sperm. Sperm is a substance that carries the male DNA and goes to a female ovum, female DNA. Men ejaculate so much of this to increase the odds, most sperm die in the acidic surroundings in about a week. the sperm does not know where to go ether so it wanders around waiting for the ovary to come to it. The more sperm that's ejaculated the more sperm surviving and the more sperm waiting for the ovary

Dolly's DNA all comes from the same sheep. It was placed into an ovum from a second sheep; the ovum's DNA had been removed so as not to mix with Dolly's DNA. The ovum was implanted into a third sheep who gave birth to Dolly.
Sex cells such as eggs and sperm only have one set of DNA.
The union of the sperm and egg cell is caller fertilizationUnion of the egg and sperm cells is called fertilization. The egg then plants itself on the uterin wall. The two sets of DNA combine, then start replicating and dividing to make a baby.
Only identical twins from the splitting of the single ovum ( monozygotic) have identical DNA
DNA located in nucleus as well as mitochondria in the cell.
