Cells without chloroplasts do not require sunlight for their primary functions, as they do not perform photosynthesis. Instead, these cells obtain energy through cellular respiration, using organic compounds as fuel. However, some non-photosynthetic cells may still be influenced by light in terms of growth and development, but they do not depend on sunlight for energy production.
The roots of a plant cell does not have any chloroplasts as they do not need it to trap sunlight.
Plants need chlorophyll because that is what allows them to convert sunlight to energy they can use in their metabolism. People do not use chlorophyll, and so don't have it, because as animals we do not convert sunlight directly to energy. We eat plants, or other animals that eat plants, and use their energy.
Plants rely on the sunlight for the process of photosynthesis which provides the plants energy. Plants (or anything that uses chloroplast organelles an an energy source) cannot grow without sunlight. But if you mean something like Mushrooms, they are not plants. They are Fungus and they like shaded areas so they don't need any sunlight to survive.
Animal cells doesn't need any Chloroplast to live because all the nutritions, Protins,Oxygen and other substance are carried by blood. So, Like plant cells animal cell don't need any chloroplast to survive
The chloroplasts within plant cells contain chlorophyll, which is held in thylakoid stacks within the chloroplasts.
The chloroplast converts sunlight into molecules and energy the cell can use.
The roots of a plant cell does not have any chloroplasts as they do not need it to trap sunlight.
Trees are plants, so it has plant cells that have chloroplast in them which turn sunlight into energy in a process called photosynthesis.
These cells need sunlight and water to live. Without these they will not be able to survive.
Chloroplasts are 'Sun Trappers'. Plants need Sunlight during the day to do photosynthesis. In other words, chloroplasts assist in producing glucose and oxygen.
Plants cells have chloroplasts because they need it for a process called photosynthesis. But both plant and animal cells have mitochondria. Animal cells can use the mitochondria to get energy that why they need chloroplast.
They need energy to live.Mitochondria give this energy.
Chloroplasts need energy for photosynthesis. It takes this energy from light
They have photosynthetic pigments. They absorb light energy.

No plants can not live without chloroplast, plants are known as producers and also autotrophs i.e. they make their food by own for this they need sunlight which is trap by chlorophyll pigment present in chloroplast so chloroplast is necessary for their food production and so as for their survival. Allthough there are some exception for autotrophy in plants i.e. some species are insectivorous but still they also require chloroplast for their survival.
