Mold grows a lot quicker on Swiss than on Cheddar.

The noun form of the adjective 'mild' is mildness.
Olives thrive in a Mediterranean climate, with hot, dry summers and mild, wet winters. They need plenty of sunlight and well-draining soil to grow successfully. Frost can harm olive trees, so they are best suited to temperate climates.
Cherries typically grow in temperate climates with distinct seasons. They require a period of winter chill to set fruit and a warm summer for fruit development. Cherries are commonly cultivated in regions with moderate temperatures and well-defined seasons, such as parts of North America, Europe, and Asia.
The difference in taste between mild and sharp cheddar cheese is that mild cheddar has a milder, smoother flavor, while sharp cheddar has a stronger, more tangy taste.
Sharp cheddar cheese has a stronger, more intense flavor compared to mild cheddar cheese. It also has a firmer texture and crumbly consistency, while mild cheddar is softer and creamier.
They are crisps ("chips", in the US) that are cheddar cheese flavour. Cheddar cheese is a mild tasting hard cheese, from the Cheddar region of the UK.
Age is the only difference between mild cheddar and sharp cheddar. The longer cheddar ages the sharper and more pronounced the flavor becomes.
Both are popular cheeses and they are very similar in fat and salt content. Most people use Swiss cheese when they want a mild flavored cheese and cheddar when they want a stronger flavor. They are equally good.
There are hundreds of types of Cheddar. The basic varieties a re "mild", "Mature" and "Sharp". Many regions now make their own versions of cheddar most of which have their own distinct taste.
The aging process is the difference. Also as the name suggests the flavors are more pronounced in sharp cheese than mild. The longer a cheese ages the harder it becomes since more of the liquid will evaporate which will make the cheese more crumbly. Also the cost of sharp cheddar is more because of the extra costs of production, the smaller yield compared to the mild cheese due to more liquid evaporation. Also the sharp cheddar is actually aged so there has to be aging storage facilities and they cost money to build and maintain. So as you may notice in your local grocery stores the cost of mild might only be about 60 percent of the cost of sharp cheddar from the same producer. I for one enjoy cheddars that are aged they become so creamy even though they are a harder cheese. The extra cost is far offset by the increase in flavor and quality.
Usually, a mixture of mozzarella and mild cheddar.
