This is completely my opinion but in the quick research I did, it says these bats are Tropical Forests mammals and it probably stays warm enough where they don't have to migrate to a place that is warmer to hibernate. Location: Moluccas, New Guinea, Admiralty and Solomon Islands; Cape York peninsula, Australia.

Habitat: Tropical forests.
